I have now been on the traditional Chinese Med (TCM) and acupuncture regime for a week which includes special diet considerations, 3 exercises to stregthen weakened meridians, and a number of accupressure points to press twice a day. I had what is called a "health crisis" after about 3 days. Basically I felt MUCH worse. Bloating, nausea, dizziness, and muddled thoughts. I eased up on the regime and contacted my acupuncturist. She said that's very common in homeopathic healing. It gets worse before it gets better. She said to drink lots of water, get as much sleep as life allows and know that your body is working hard on flushing toxins, creating healthy blood and healing itself. She said the pressure points tell the body where to focus the attention. It was atleast interesting to see my body to respond to the treatment even if it wasn't what I thought. Apparently the "health crisis" can last 3-10 days so I will check in a week. By that time I will also have my most recently hormone levels checked and been to my second acupuncture treatment. Best to you!
